Cane & Grain Manchester's Homemade Amaretto Sour


To make the homemade amaretto: 

1. Add the amaretti biscuits and Beluga vodka together
2. Allows them to macerate for 48 hours.
3. Add 125g of caster sugar in pan and heat gently.
4. Allow the mixture to cool and stir all of the ingredients together.


To make the amaretto sour:

1. Shake both wet & dry
2. Shake with ice
3. Discard ice
4. Shake again (dry)
5. Strain into glass filled with cubed ice
6. Garnish with Almond & Orange

  • 25ml lemon juice

  • 3.5ml clove syrup

  • 35ml fresh orange

  • 20ml organic egg white

  • 4 dashes rose water

  • For the homemade amaretto:

  • 200g fresh amaretti biscuits

  • 500ml Beluga vodka

  • 125g caster sugar
