Led by TV chef, Marcus Bean (This Morning, Iron Chef), and his wife, Jenny, Brompton Cookery School is based on a National Trust property in Shropshire. Classes are taught in a spacious, purpose-built farmhouse with room for 16 people at four large workstations. Offering a wide range of classes, from butchery and foraging to mastering pastry and petit-fours, there is something for everyone. Brompton cookery school offers childrens’ and adult courses on a full and half day basis.
Stoves has provided Brompton Cookery School with nine Sterling 900Ei range cookers in a modern stainless steel finish. The cookery school team chose these models as they provide plenty of cooking space across the three cavities and the induction hobs allow for safer, faster and greener stove-top cooking.
Alongside Marcus, other chefs and experts who teach at Brompton Cookery School include Robert Swift (a local artisan baker), David Parker (a professional chef with an expertise in Indian and Asian cuisine), Liz Knight (an expert forager) and Angelina Cupcakes (a baking and sugarcraft expert).
