Seaforth Information Network Group (SING)
Seaforth Information Network Group (SING) is a community project in the Seaforth area of Merseyside, which provides a range of services, including providing children from low income families with free meals during school holidays through its Kids Kitchen initiative.
SING received £3,000 worth of Stoves kitchen appliances which allowed it to expand its current kitchen to provide meals for its own Ofsted registered nursery, again supporting families who struggle with the cost of food. Winning the Stoves equipment also allowed the centre to expand its community hot food service and to cater for more people in the area.
John Oldland from SING, said: "Winning this prize allowed us to upgrade our existing kitchen equipment, extend the range of food we can offer to, and cook with our groups. We would like to say a huge thanks to all our supporters and Stoves for allowing us this opportunity."
