Little Sprouts CIC
Little Sprouts CIC provides outreach cooking sessions within the community and schools, across the Tees Valley, using its mobile kitchen to engage hard to reach communities, often promoting invaluable life skills, budgeting, nutrition education and practical cooking.
The project used its £2,000 of Stoves appliances to support a community café for homeless people in Stockton.
Debbie Fixter, co-owner of Little Sprouts, said: "We are thrilled to have been a part of the Stoves Community Kitchens competition. The community cafe supports homeless people who were residing in hostel accommodation in Stockton, providing not only low cost, home-cooked meals but also a safe place to reconnect with the community."
