Easington Youth Club
Easington Youth Club, in East Yorkshire, provides a safe place for children to meet, play, interact and learn new skills such as baking and cooking.
The £2,000 Stoves Community Kitchens prize allowed the self-funded Youth Club to update its outdated kitchen appliances, enabling it to continue to offer its popular classes, which give attendees a good start to their adult lives.
Janet Hollingway, Vice Chair at Easington Youth Club, said: "We are so pleased to have won £2,000 of Stoves kitchen equipment - it will make a big difference to both the club and the wider community."
"The prize means we can include more children in our popular baking and cooking classes and the freezer will save us money in the long term as we'll be able to bulk buy and store products, and will give us the chance to bake and freeze more cakes for our fundraising events."
