The Liar's Club - Pina Colada

Method

The Pina Colada is the national drink of Puerto Rico and is claimed to have first appeared in 1952. The name Pina Colada literally means strained pineapple, a reference to the freshly pressed and strained pineapple juice used in the drink's preparation. It is a sweet and creamy cocktail which can either be served blended or shaken.

 

METHOD

1. Blend all ingredients together with ice

2. Strain into a hurricane glass

3. Garnish with pineapple leaf, pineapple wedge and a cherry

  • 50ml El Dorado 5

  • 25ml Pineapple Juice

  • 10ml Maraschino Cherry Juice

  • 50ml Coco Lopez

  • 25ml Condensed Milk

  • 25ml Half & Half

  • 10ml Lime Juice

  • 2 Pineapple Chunks

  • 2 Dashes Salt Solution
