Fuel type
The Stoves product range allows you to choose an appliance to suit your personal preference for fuel. We offer gas, electric and dual fuel appliances (an electric oven with a gas hob) right across our range. If you want gas but don’t have access to a mains gas supply, some of our appliances can be converted to LPG with a kit (This kit is supplied with dual fuel range cookers. For other Stoves products the kit can be ordered through Spare Sales on 0871 222 2506).
One Oven, Two Ovens or More
From a compact Built-in with a single oven to a full size Range cooker with up to 4 ovens, the choice is yours. Of course the more ovens you have, the more versatile you can be. You can cook dishes that require different times and temperatures at the same time, or bake in one oven while you roast or grill in another.
And, if you don't think you have enough room for a double oven, take a look at our 600mm or 450mm compact oven models. Designed to sit under or over a work surface, they'll suit even the smallest of kitchens.
Colour
So you have chosen the type of cooker you want, now all you need to do is decide on the finish. Naturally we offer a number of options. Though of course these vary depending on the model you have chosen.Our core range palette consists of the ever popular stainless steel, white, champagne, and the increasingly requested black. And our stunning new Flavours range comes in 4 vibrant colours that have to be seen to be believed.
Warranty
As part of the ongoing commitment to the Stoves customer and in addition to the one year labour warranty, all products now come with an additional five years parts guarantee. Ergonomically designed controls
On our Range cookers you'll notice the increased size of the control knobs. These have been carefully designed to give a more positive feel and by virtue of their size, firmer control.
Intuitive touch controls
Intuitive touch controls have been used on a selection of our ceramic and induction hobs as well as the revolutionary Genus oven and some Accolade models, for their sleek styling and ease of use for accurate temperature control.
Switch Back System™
Fitted on selected gas hotplates where a lid is featured. The SBS ensures that when the lid is closed, the gas supply to the hob is cut off and the controls returned to the off position.
Easy clean Pristine® enamel
Many of our ovens feature this unique Pristine® enamel finish. Following exhaustive tests involving a variety of ovens, we are able to ascertain that Pristine® enamel is three times easier to clean than standard enamel.
Because the structure of the enamel is more compact, the absorption of food residue is greatly reduced, making it possible to just wipe it clean. In addition, Pristine’s unique formulation also offers inherent antibacterial qualities.
And we have now incorporated our amazine new Pristine Plus™ enamel into our new Accolade ovens which takes ease of cleaning to new levels.
Wok burner
This is an extra large burner situated on selected hobs and Range cookers and our new Mini range cookers offering the benefit of intense heat which is perfect for high speed cooking and stir fries.
Wok support
A cast iron wok support is available for all of the range cookers (excluding Sterling 1100E, Richmond 900E & 1100E). Just call the Stoves order hotline on 0871 222 2655 and quote part number 082867500.
Telescopic shelves
You’ll find these on all our new range cookers and on many of our high specification multi-function built-in ovens.
The smooth action of the slide-out shelf makes accessing your food easier and safer. There’s no need to reach into a hot oven, simply pull out the shelf and the food comes to you. Our telescopic shelves include a unique ‘safety-stop’ feature.
Variable shelf positions
All our ovens offer a number of shelf positions. This enables you to cook a single large item on one shelf or several items on multiple shelves.
Door arrest position
Available on a number of our cookers, this convenient feature enables you to leave the door partly closed while grilling. This is especially useful if you have limited space in your kitchen, as the door is kept safely out of the way as you move around.
Removable inner door glass
Some oven doors feature removable inner door glass for easy cleaning.
Rotostar
At Stoves we continually improve our products to improve your cooking. Rotostar is one more innovation and it's a big one. For the first time ever, advanced fan technology is available in a gas oven to provide a unique combination of radiant and convected heat. Enjoy all the benefits of gas with the added advantage of even temperature distribution, as featured in our electric fanned ovens.
Twin side lights
Available on the majority of our cookers, these give a clear view of cooking progress without having to open the oven door. This allows more efficient, effective cooking.
Powercool system
Powercool uses a fan to circulate air around the oven casing and up through the two sheets of heat resistant glass that make up the oven door, keeping exterior surfaces at lower temperatures.
Electronic clock/minute minder
A 24-hour digital clock, featuring a handy minute minder function to time your meals to perfection.
Electronic clock/auto programmer
A 24-hour digital clock which features minute minder and automatic programmer functions to programme your cooking, so it's ready when you come home from work.
